Independent software developer with 5 years of experience across C#, .NET, Azure, API integrations and product-focused backend work. I started my career in banking, working on C#/.NET systems, Azure infrastructure and internal product workflows at Investec.
Since then I've worked across SaaS document workflows, digital signing, cloud platforms and AI-assisted product development. I'm now independent and focused on project-based work. 01A local-first meeting scribe for Apple Silicon Macs. It records audio, transcribes it locally with Whisper, and formats transcripts into Markdown notes without sending meeting content to cloud services by default.
02An early-stage freelancer admin tool focused on invoice generation and clean PDF output. The first version taught me how much detail sits inside simple business workflows: layout, totals, spacing and reusable document structure.
03A South African personal finance app for importing bank statements, building budgets and asking practical money questions. The project pushed me to separate deterministic financial workflows from safer, read-only AI assistance.
04The original BudgetBuddy experiment: a real-time expense tracker triggered by Investec programmable banking card transactions. It used Azure Functions and Google Sheets to turn raw transaction events into useful spending records.

My work includes building production features, improving existing systems, setting up cloud infrastructure and turning product ideas into working software.

I worked as a senior software developer at Secret Sauce on a banking product enablement platform for Investec. My role covered backend development, Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container apps, networking, authentication and deployment automation.

I worked across C# development, digital signing solutions and customer integrations for a SaaS document workflow and signing platform. I worked with local and international teams, including UK-based product teams, to support clients and improve document workflow solutions.

I worked as a software developer in a team of in-house developers, contractors and business analysts. Most of my work was in C# and .NET, with exposure to Azure, Angular, SQL and infrastructure-as-code across internal banking systems.
